He was kidding, I promise. As anyone who knows Eli would know, he is quite the comedian. Jokes aside, however, there is a bit of truth there. I feel like all I have done is make hotel reservations and transport arrangements. The sheer number of moving parts in a 144 day- 49 city European tour is somewhat mind-boggling even 5/6 of the way through planning. I now have all the hotel stays arranged and 35 of 50 transports planned. The last 15 are a little daunting and due to different policies in different countries, not yet available for reservations. I have invested so many hours in planning this trip and we don’t even know when the EU is going to allow Americans in! (Which I cannot even think about or I get panicky…)
On a MUCH happier note. Rob finished his Master’s Degree!!! Woo Hoo! The kids and I are so proud of him, and I know he is so glad to be done!
Ian got glasses today. We had no idea that he had vision issues until recently, but apparently he inherited Rob’s near-sightedness. He noticed it on the cross-country trip when Eli would point out things that he could not see. He adamantly did not want glasses though, so he didn’t tell us for a while. Now he is thrilled with them! (And absolutely adorable in them, in my opinion.)

We have seen some really cool things in New Mexico: the Jemez Springs, the Quarai Ruins, the Petroglyphs National Monument, the Sandia Tramway, and Meow Wolf. And we have met some wonderful people but my feet are getting itchy to be on the move again!

The countdown is on and we have less than 6 weeks to get everything done and see the things that we still want to see in New Mexico and nearby. We’ll keep you posted!
